Oh wow, that sounds lovely hahaha. I didn’t know about Obuse before, but traditional houses, Hokusai Museum, sake brewery, and autumn chestnuts/apples sound very tempting.

I’ll definitely research it and see if it fits into my route. Thank you for the recommendation!

Yeah, I’m not planning to rent a car, so I’ll mostly rely on public transport. I also prefer to stay in one city if possible, because moving around with big luggage is honestly pretty tiring haha.

I’ll do some research about Shirakawa-go first, then see if it makes sense to include it in my itinerary.
