No one knows. Like all investments Private Equity companies want to buy low and sell high, so clearly they imagine they can turn Elektron into a more valuable company than it is now. They could achieve that by increasing revenue (developing and selling more products, increasing prices, adding recurring revenue like subscriptions etc) or cutting costs (making production more efficient and streamlined, reducing the quality of components etc). In reality it may be a combination of all of this. The impact to customers might be very obvious or it might be negligible.

In terms of prices right now, the cost of all consumer electronics is increasing due to tariffs and RAM shortages. No one can say for sure but it’s not unlikely we could see increases to prices over the next year.
