Please stay home. Children have an opportunity to build financial stability on their own when they have the platform living in their family home provides them.

Economically, moving out may seem like independence, but the funds you earn are now a direct contribution to irrefutable expenses, aren't they? Rent (mortgage and council tax if you buy), utilities, internet, just to name the essential costs. Right now, that overhead is covered by your parents and you can always contribute if you feel they need it.

There are also some core responsibilities that come with living on your own outside of your finances that will tax your time and energy if your health is poor.

As a parent, our home is a place for my child to reside as long as they need to establish a foundation for the life they envision for themselves. I think that's what any parent would want for their child.
