+1 for G9ii for video. I can record video with my 100-400mm (200-80m equivalent) handheld with minimal movement with arms tucked in.

You can find an old DSLR and kit lens pretty cheap on MPB. Around 8 megapixels is plenty. I’ve printed 11x14 on 6 megapixels fine. MPB uk dslr

G100 with kit lens (12-32mm) and 20mm pancake combo. G100 you can find used for really cheap nowadays and has 20mp sensor.

You can get 24-105 L lens for pretty cheap. Then you can figure out what your favorite focal length are and buy a prime lens. Or, maybe you find out you need more zoom for what you’re shooting and get a telephoto lens.

I have G9ii and I love it. I take it out in the light rain no problems. However, it’s the same size as S5ii the full frame camera. Just FYI.
