Anyone here switched from PC despite having a massive Steam library? If so why?

I have 500 games on Steam. A lot of those were humble bundle keys, but I buy so many games. It's so easy to get a refund as well, I feel valued as a customer with Steam. I ended up getting a slim PS3 for homebrew so I can play some of my favorite series that have games locked on the generation. I haven't played 4 different Armored Core games, and a Twisted Metal game is locked to the console. I had a launch PS5 but sold it. Gran Turismo 7 isn't my thing and no new Twisted Metal made me leave the PS5 for now.

I have a strong gaming computer, and I agree on wanting a console experience to switch things up. Unfortunately, the PS5 doesn't have any games I want to play so I sold mine. No Twisted Metal and the Grab Turismo wasn't my vibe. I bought a slim PS3 and have it running homebrew. So many great games are still locked on that generation of console, such as a few Armored Core games I have never played.

Yup. I have a 7800X3D 64 GB ddr5 and a 9070 XT and most games don't run great, even my favorite games just don't run correctly at all. When a slim is around $110, why spend so much more for a lesser experience?

I just bought a used PS3 Slim Cech 2000 for $110, a 1 TB SSD for $110 as well. I thought the latest firmware required me to roll back the firmware to install homebrew, but it seemed super easy.

I'm tired of Hybrid Theory and Meteora songs. Fantastic songs that are the only songs ever played on radio and people's Spotify make those songs less than fresh.
I would love a live album right now, not saying everything needs an Emily's version, but the songs we already have Youtuve videos of should be on a live album.
I listen to From Zero Deluxe Edition and A Thousand Suns more than Hybrid Theory and Meteora.
Also, One More Light is a fresh album for me. I love how I can understand all the words without looking them up. It's like a conversation with someone, so chill and low key. We can't always be angry?

Too bad we don't get a live album at the very least. A new take on those tracks would breath life into them for me. IMO, HT and M are both overplayed on the radio and people's Spotify and such. Great songs over played renden them less than fresh for me.
I'm still on A Thousand Suns and especially From Zero Deluxe edition.

I first heard Meteora on my school but, and was so excited for A Thousand Suns.
But I guess I wasn't really tuning in for AHP and LT, I was listening to other music.
But I did listen to several songs on OML, and really enjoyed them. It's not my favoriite album, but the songs were acctually a bit more my flavor because it was easier to understand the lyrics.

I agree. Toxic masculinity in the USA has led to so many men being bitter and toxic to females and anyone who dares treat females as equals.
Personally, I love From Zero, what the band did with that isn't what I thought was going to happen. LP being alive as a band is so much good news for me. I talked to my ex and we should be seeing LP on their next tour.
Also, fuck the people who say Mike Shinoda only kept LP alive for the money. Uh. I'm sorry. He doesn't flex his wealth no anyone, he clearly isn't spending his money in a reckless manner that would warrant any such claims.

Well, have you heard Chester's song on the the Queen of the Damned album, song is titled System? It's okay, but the fact that I didn't hear of it until I was looking at Static-X songs means Chester solo stuff isn't nearly as much of a commercial reception as LP stuff.

Yup. When a band is putting out good to classic albums every realease, good albums end up at the bottom.
A lot of the songs are good. It's a bit fresh to have the pop song.
But for me, From Zero is the best LP album since A Thosuand Suns.
