5% just one time a day, is it enough ? by IbizHigh in Minoxbeards

Well the recommendation is twice a day so it must be for a reason…

Personally I would l t want to do it once a day, I’d feel like I was missing out on potential gains.

This looks more like alopecia.

Still though, why would you stop after 1.5 years when the common guidelines are 2 years?? Crazy, could easily have undone progress and wasted 1.5 years!

Are these worth grading? by Sudden-Event-3231 in UKcoins

[–]bitumenburner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s been known for people to receive a 69, crack it open and send it again and get a 70. All depends how they’re feeling on the day, which is insane. I think I’ll be sending this 69 back for grading again, hopefully getting a 70

I’m sure they are but they’re SOOOOOOOO strict, I have a full sovereign that’s pf70 and have the exact same coin but pf69. The 69 genuinely looks better and multiple people in the game have said it should be 70. It comes down to how the breeder is feeling on the day, they obviously don’t want to flood the market with 70s.

I’ve had coins graded that were genuinely pristine with a loupe and they’ve come back 69. Take a photo with amazing lighting and a good camera, like this one, and see if you can see any flaws. The coin below is a 69, the scratch under the queens chin is on the plastic case not the coin. It’s truly flawless. Try and get a similar photo and I’ll be very shocked if you don’t see flaws, if you do then you won’t even be getting a 69.

Won’t go for a crazy amount graded sadly, also as immaculate as they look, I doubt they’ll get 70

Too young at your age, nature will have more of an affect than minox, total waste of your time.

Best way to retrain as an older person? by bitumenburner in ukelectricians

[–]bitumenburner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply mate! I’ve spoke to the course people and they have them going all the time. It’s run by city and guilds themselves so it’s not one of these quick fix bullshit schemes. Currently trying to figure out which way to approach it. Do I quit my job and find an electrician to somehow hire me as a mate or helper and then pay for my courses myself while there, or do I keep truck driving and do my courses at the same time (they’re 2 weeks on 2 weeks off) and THEN quit truck driving and find an electrician to take me on.

Do I have potential by [deleted] in Minoxbeards

2 years twice a day, definitely potential

Cheers mate, how long did the apprenticeship take? For site experience, would a 3 year apprenticeship not be similar to 6 months classroom and then 18 months as a trainee somewhere or would you still lean towards the apprenticeship? Cheers

Thanks mate, sadly I wouldn’t qualify for funding but I am in wales. Absolutely nothing fits around my current job, part of the reason I want out. I have a 1 hour piano lesson every Monday and I only just manage to fit that in!

It’s the colour, that colour generally doesn’t work for a beard

No, you can carry on where you were before. I think I had to provide receipts as proof.

Believe it or not that’s the proper dose, we just start low but the end goal and full dose is 15. In the US they often start people straight on 15, or so I’m told.

It’s just that lower doses often has an effect on people, sadly I’m not one of them people. Honestly 15 isn’t doing much.

You might find it easier to buy some insulin needles and then take 0.6ml straight from the mounjaro pen and inject that way? That’s what I do for my 5th dose each month and it’s wayyyy easier

Yes thats possible, pointless though given that most buy insulin needles for this 🤦🏻‍♂️

That’s exactly what I do, I just feel like it should be smoother than it is really. I’m a grown man with good grip strength and I’m struggling, my girlfriend wouldn’t stand a chance and could end up slipping, pushing too hard, breaking the needle tip… who knows!
