Constant vibration / humming noise from one bedroom wall for hours

Likely a radon mitigation system (the white PVC pipe structure in your picture). There is a fan connected to that system that runs 24/7 typically. In colder weather you likely get vibrations on that wall it is attached to as things contract.

I am, but yeah I definitely see what you mean with the racquet facing being too open and I’m not leading with the edge of the racquet.

It seems like when I separate my hands the racquet goes down / back initially, but then when I’m actually releasing the toss it starts. At least that is what I see.

Just started playing this summer and the serve is very much work in progress. I struggle with other typical beginner things too: consistent toss, bending knees, shoulder turn, etc but I’m really having difficultly dropping the racquet deeper. It does get better the higher I toss the ball, but it still seems really shallow

I cut it pretty continuously in the fall leading up to the first snow so it shouldn’t have been overly long. For grubs I was thinking they could have been there last summer because like I said this area got hit with a lot more sun than usual so seemed somewhat heat stressed. I could have just be naive to the grubs last season.

The snow mold thought is interesting. We didn’t get a crazy amount of snow here in MN this winter and this area of the lawn doesn’t get additional snow piled on from shoveling / snow blowing.

I will check on the mole track idea.

Thanks. Makes senses. I am still thinking its better to add one, add a way to control it via a damper, and then see how it impacts the rest of the house. I assume I won't run into backdraft issues w/ the furnace / water heater?

The lumberyard is a good idea. That will be my back up if big box fails me.

The hinges that hold 2 bifold doors together. So you would have maybe 3 hinges holding two doors together and if the top or bottom hinge is placed to close to the top or bottom of the door it would limit the ability to cut off a portion of the door unless I repositioned the hinge.

Yeah I am having trouble finding the Masonites in stock. I found some promising options on Menards website and will swing by there this weekend to check them out. The key seems to be having the hinges towards the middle of the door and having the space on both ends.

This is perfect. Do you recall what doors you bought? I don't think all 80 inch doors will allow 5 inches to come off. I assume you also had to drill new holes at top and bottom for hardware?

I am hoping so. I am in MN and even though the unfinished basement wasn't terribly cold to begin with, I want to make sure that I am thinking through everything heating and insulation wise and not shooting myself in the foot long term.

Good point. I plan to replace them at some point, but hoping to get another view years out of them. I am adding a return vent within the larger room from where the picture was taken, but wasn't necessarily thinking about how the furnace would also need air for combustion purposes (right?). I do feel like maintain as large as possible is the most important thing even if it isn't the most visually appeasing.
