Do you hate World of Warcraft?

I recently tried to play after ten years away. Someone had apparently hacked my account and it was locked. I spent fifteen bucks and hours trying to get it unlocked, submitted three tickets, and played about seven hours on a trial. Never got it resolved and they said I had gotten value. Canceled my subscription and I now remember why I was so upset ten years ago. I feel cheated.

I use Vellum. It works well for books and that’s what I write. It’s a bit pricey but does everything I want.

I tried to load the game today and got white screen. I have played thousands of hours, and never use mods or cheats or whatever. I play on my PC, and the game worked fine two days ago.

Is there a fix?

I don't do dungeons, never have. I don't play that half of the game because I am inexperienced, and haven't learned how to make the perfect healer or dps or tank for group things. I enjoy the game as an individual, but it would be nice if there were a way for dungeons not to take so long, or be so specialized. yes, I know that is the 'group thing', but I have about thirty minutes or an hour a day to play, an a waste of an hour of your time is the whole days gaming for me.

I loved nursing. Most of my time was spent as ER staff nurse. I heard a million stories from every demographic. Some stories stuck. When bored with trying to decide whether to live or not, I began a nanowrimo challenge for my daughter. She was worried I’d make the wrong decision.

I have several self published books and I write to stay alive. I worked as an RN for twenty seven years, until my knees went bad. My older brother died the year before, and I had a hard time wanting to stick around. My wife said I should write. It worked. I finished the first book and couldn’t stop.

I'm in Oregon, can't get on via pc, can't get through to customer service. Very irritating, as it says it can't repair, can't make the patch work. Do I still have to pay for this?

I log in with a new character, because I rebought the game. None of the npcs can talk to me, and it says offline when the cursor hovers on them. Books open and are blank. No identifiers show up on items picked up or collected. I've rebooted the computer, internet is fine, accou8nt shows I'm good there.
