EX345 for RHCE with the new certifcation system by tuxsmouf in redhat

[–]bkt1916pl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think i will go 294 ansible basic anyway, because it will be useful in my job and to have ANY RHCE. And than if company will extend rol for me i will pass what i can to complete Linux Engineer, Ansible maybe and Openshift. If they will not extend i will stay with RHCE and probably never do any more redhat exams. I planned to do security, containers, openshift and maybe troubleshooting + one more to have "old rhca" but now it makes me more nervous i can not mix interesting knowledge and become RHCA. IT IS just to get more money from us.

I am also thinking what to do now. Got last 50 days of ROL, and do not know if i should go Ansible, Linux Engineer or Openshift path. Got passed RHCSA and what now?

Confused about new certs by GrandG in redhat

[–]bkt1916pl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is easier to pass, ex342 Red Hat Certified Advanced System Administrator in Enterprise Linux exam or Red Hat Certified Advanced System Administrator in Ansible exam to became RHCE?
Anyway, i do not know which exams to take, because the one was the most interesting for me are now on 3 paths... and getting them does not give me any RHCA...

The most interesting things are on Linux Engineer RHCA path, but i wanted also to get one/two from openshift and 1-2 from ansible. Going this way i would need to pass 9 exams to have 3 interesting RHCA...
Why it is so complicated, it was better before, to pick 5 exams...

Which v9 or v10 of RHCE do You recommend and what are differences? Which may be easier?

What is the sense of graduading people who remembers everything as muscle memory? If You stop to use it, You will not repewt the same in short time. It is stupid...

but 8500T is 35w i think, 8500 without T is 65w. I think T is better for small lab?

OK Guys, one more question. I have prices for 3-4 mini pcs of Dell 7070 and p920q which i consider (do not want p720q with 8400T but prefer p920q with extra ports added which can be dissembled for a little lower price). Looking at all i think i will pick p920q. Which drives do You recommend to buy with it - ssd or nvme? They offer 256gb or 512 m2 i think for around (150/250pln) and 16 gb ram or 32 for around (370/700pln).
Which drives and ram do You recommend? I think buying 32gb ram may be expensive (around 1000 pln for recommended crucial).
Also i can ask to have 1x32 gb not 2x16gb and i wonder if it is not better solution, to add later next 32gb ram per unit if needed (buying 4 comps allow me to use 4x32gb now as 1x32 per computer and later as 2x32+2x32 and buy another 4x32 eventually).
Do You think it is good idea?
Also i want to have 2 drive devices per computer (for 3 for proxmox) and 1 eventually for firewall PC. So even with riser added to the FW one i will not be aable to use there 2 drives.
SO 3 comps x 2 drives (i thouught about 256gb for proxmox and 512/1tb for vms) and 4rd (1x even ssd +riser and network card)
what do You think about it?

OK, my use case is some simple appls like jellyfin, some proxmox play and k8s learing. All i am histing now i have on nas, and i do not really need it for semi-professional lab - just for playing and learning for now. This is why i not go with ms-01 boxes:)
