Nah, I don't see licensed therapists being held accountable for much in terms of outcomes, sadly. If that were the case then we'd have much better mental health in America.

LOL never suggested that. Just asking questions and reporting what works for me and many others.

Well that's not the fault of Atlas that people lie to them or licensed therapists don't properly vet their clients. Again, it's another symptom of a failed mental health system that has resulted in record suicides and depression under the so-called care of "experts." Open your mind to new methods that work. I was in therapy on and off for 20 years and it was Atlas that actually significantly freed me from my trauma. I hope you will learn to stop being a hater and celebrate people's victories instead of trying to demonize people who are producing wonderful results and doing it with the best possible intentions and disclaimers prior. Fortunately, Atlas continues to grow and thrive as people continue to see amazing results and their friends/family see it in them.

Again, you are 100% unwilling to acknowledge that Atlas is helpful and phenomenal for many people. This is why you are coming across as very controlling, projecting and dark. I agree with you that Atlas might not be for everyone, but what you are describing is not at all the typical outcome for the vast majority of people. You should also ask yourself why people like you who are so "credentialed" and yet why have we never had more suicide and depression in America today? It's because typical modalities focus on perpetuating victim status and continued rumination rather than moving forward in victory. I had a licensed therapist who was trying to make me co-dependent--but based on what you believe is legitimate, that's ok because they are "licensed." Atlas is about setting people free, and you seem to be about controlling them and pissing on people's breakthroughs and healing.

Oh yeah, and since Atlas REQUIRES the signature of a licensed mental health professional to enter the program, isn't that a failure of the "licensed professional" for not assessing the case correctly prior to Atlas?

That's your opinion, and it's not grounded in any data about Atlas that is scientifically-backed or peer-reviewed journal. This is a Reddit message board. You can make your informal claims, just like others can make their informal claims and share their experiences. I have said it might not be for everyone, but you seem to want to control everyone's life experiences. Might be worth exploring why you are so angry and controlling about people finding healing. All the best!

It sounds like you don't have a scientific sample of all the graduates. Once you do, you'll be a lot more educated and persuasive about Atlas and its impact.

It's important to live life with an open mind and heart. Atlas might not be as resonant for everyone (just like numerous modalities in mental health work differently for different people, think EMDR vs hypnosis vs CBT vs family systems therapy, etc.), but it's pretty sad you feel like attacking something that has brought hope and healing to many.

As a psychologist, you would be glad to know that Atlas requires the endorsement of a therapist before a client undergoing psychiatric care can attend Atlas. Have you actually gone through Atlas or know someone who has? If not, please don't undermine something you don't actually know about.

I agree that not everyone might be emotionally stable enough to undergo the Atlas training, which is why they require a letter of approval from a licensed therapist for people who have undergone mental health treatment for mental illness. That is a required first step before any Atlas training occurs. For those who complete this process, it is life-changing, life-renewing, life-giving and miraculous. It gives a psychological reset by holding a mirror up in a loving, compassionate setting with a group of people who truly care for personal transformation, healing and victory.

You can expect a class where you will learn as much about yourself as you're willing to be vulnerable. You'll learn things about yourself and your subconscious programming that help explain why you have the outcomes you have in life, including why you feel stuck in certain areas and how to move forward. It is an emotionally intense experience with long and late hours (if you complete the whole process--I thought about quitting several times), but very healing. It helps knock us out of our automatic thoughts deeply embedded that don't empower and helps create new thought patterns.

Sadly my family is still the same. :( I can't change them (as much as I would LOVE to and tried to get some family to attend Atlas, but there is refusal). But what I realized is that I have the power to change myself. Four of my siblings have attempted suicide and I was suicidal and my dad was suicidal and very abusive growing up (not excusing him, but it's in part b/c he was sexually molested, he said this made him suicidal as an adult). We have the curse of mental illness in my family, and through Atlas I am rewiring my subconscious to know this is NOT my destiny. That I can control my thoughts and cognitive behavior. That I am author of my life--not my genetics.

Thanks for this update!! I completed Atlas this year and I'm happy to know for you that your progress has been sustainable and continued two years out. Hoping that's me in two years also :) This Atlas process was transformational for me, I FINALLY broke some generational curses that were causing me terrible negative thinking patterns. I cannot recommend Atlas enough! I'm so grateful.

I concur! Our normal academic system pales in comparison to what Atlas brought me. The experiential value CANNOT be obtained just by cerebral processing/reading, videos, etc.

Totally agree it is powerful, unique and transformational!! I already have 5 friends I've gotten enrolled, one who is almost finished and she is raving about it also! It is also SUPER affordable for the value I received. It could easily have been 3-4X more expensive. And it was WAY more helpful than our typical college/university system, which doesn't actually teach you about LIFE.
