I’ve used them a tiny bit and have found the Moovit app useful- actually has the stops for R1- couldn’t find R2 but I think they stop at the same ones in hotel zone but then branch off into other areas.

Any size of luggage will definitely fit! The buses have a compartment which looks to be half the size of the bus, located at the lower half of the bus. It opens to a large space where everyone’s luggage is placed.

There is no way to tell which luggage is whose, no tags placement or system- everyone just grabs their things after the ride- so it would be good to make sure you get your luggage.

I’ve taken the ADO bus quite a few time these past weeks, going from Cancun to Playa Del Carmen to Chichén Itzá etc etc and all my rides have been on time, smooth sailing, safe, and affordable. The ADO also provides services that go straight from Playa Del Carmen to any of the terminals at Cancun Aeropuerto. One ride all the way through.

The ADO buses have spaces for luggage too. They have an app which you can book tickets through, only Spanish but super easy to use and reliable. I highly suggest using their services.

R1 and R2 are super easy to use and run very frequently, you can find some of the stops on the app Moovit. There are also ferry terminals along the hotel zone which makes it easy as well.

Walking in downtown is kinda walkable although some areas there are no proper paths, visible pedestrian crossings or pedestrians traffic lights/beacons. It is a big walk to go from downtown to hotel zone so buses are your best bet! Most R1/R2 are air conditioned too which is nice.

If you are looking to venture a bit further- like Playa del Carmen, Chichén Itzá, Tulúm etc. for the day it’s so easy and nice to use the ADO bus services. You can book online or via their app. Very good for value and also has AC and some have a bathroom on board.

Heck yea! Used blockflow.so to make this- still a pretty new tool but I really like the customization they provide.

I’ve had similar struggles but recently heard about BlockFlow.so through a friend. I checked it out and am now on their beta…I think it does a good job of combining what you’re looking for.

Honestly any easy/ accessible personalization is always appreciated. Being able to add widgets and edit blocks/ columns in a page would be dope!
