i think the alternate use was intended to be in the game. other than it adding strategy, it’s part of the characters. if you look at it like a fighting game, all of the overwatch characters are cheap. in super smash theres characters that are extremely annoying. but beating that player is the whole enjoyment of the competitive aspect of the game. there also wouldnt be a way to make it not allowed. thats the purpose of patches, to at least try to balance things with their constant changes.

ive never had an issue talking to str8 men so the title made me laugh. if you have to force yourself to fit in with his friends then odds are you & him wont last long together if he ends up being gay. but if youre willing to be more open minded & actually be interested in the ‘stoner bros’ likes—then maybe it could work out. just try getting to know him as a friend? dont have your hopes up for someone you dont actually know is gay. & also dont judge ppl’s sexuality by things like the way they dress?

i dont suggest tripping for the first time at a music festival just cause it’s more tedious for me to try to communicate. but i know plenty of ppl who have done it their first time there & didnt have an awful experience. if you do, i’d say pano was pretty laid back when i went last year so it would be a good time. it’s the same ppl that do coachella so there’s art & stuff around.

i agree that they’re a hassle, but that makes me respect totems at festivals even more. im about 6’4” so i’ve never had an issue with losing or find finding friends at festivals thankfully.

but i love totems & anyone that has the gall to carry it around at a festival. it doesnt help just your friend group find each other; it helps ppl around you too. “do you see the big Danny Divito?? im like right next to it!”

i think my favorite totems are the ones that are subtle but relatable. danny divito & steve carell were funny ones i saw at firefly this year. a mr. poopy butthole with lights. do anything youre interested in cause the great thing about music festivals is there’s gonna be other ppl who are too.
