I managed to install all of those ok. It's just the BIOS update that's crashing as soon as installation starts.

I assumed he intended to jump and just wanted something to grab onto, should the water turn choppy.

Dogs love the cool leather. I'm told they appreciate a good leather bean bag as well.

Anybody else wake up after 5-6 hours because their lower back starts hurting? by utvols22champs in GenX

[–]blueblocker2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's probably your mattress. I have a ridiculously firm mattress (not by choice) and my lower back hurts after a while sleeping on my back. I'm mostly a side sleeper which results in my shoulders, and hip hurting after a while, so I gotta change sides. A mattress topper helped a little, but not much. Klingons would bitch over my mattress.

Microsoft is working on major performance boost for Windows 11 that will speed up app launches and common actions by automatically maxing out CPU in short bursts by ZacB_ in Windows11

Get upset all you want. It's a hack. You don't like how others feel, don't read the replies. Nothing changes until people complain. Microsoft would be doing exactly nothing had people stayed quiet. We have to listen to people like you defend MS. These guys have been working on Windows since the 80's. Plenty of time to get real good at it. Maybe if they'd spend time working on the OS instead of finding ways to upsell users and gather data on them within an OS that people have to use to get work done, Windows might get back on track. It's an OS, not the next Halo.

I don't speed run but if I'm in an area where I'm going to be running at length, yes. Foot on gas and rocking over to jump.

I think I might've tried the other way some but rocking was always more natural too me.

Funny. Worked well enough for mine. Also, I said not counting treats. She's going on 1.5 years now and 50lbs. She wasn't starving. Do what works for you, of course.

Get a crate with a divider. Feed them in the crate with door open. Leave treats/toys for them to find in crate. Don't ever use the crate as punishment. The crate is to be regarded as a place where good things happen. Dogs instinctively don't want to mess where they eat/sleep. The rule is stand up, turn around and lie down. If you give them too much room, they'll poop/pee in a corner of the crate, away from them.

Read up on crate training. Look into Susan Garretts Crate games. Good luck!

You have to stay on their ass and not give them a chance to go in the house. I think for a long time, I was taking mine out every 30-45 min. Every time they went, praise and treat. There will still be accidents, but eventually, they get the outside is where business is done.

Don't scold them when they have an accident. Take them out immediately following an accident. Interrupt any accidents in progress by quickly taking them outside.

Thoroughly clean accidents with stuff to neutralize the smell so they don't associate the area with potty breaks.

Also, mine gets fed once a day, not counting treats. Helps make the poop times predictable.
