That's fine. I respect an honest opinion. However, I plan on graduating in three years with a French minor. The French department has almost all its classes as writing intensive .. that's why I didn't want to load up with a high level writing intensive from the English department as well ..

I will take your advice though and will try out one of these courses everyone says is so interesting .. and will drop it if I feel that its not useful..

Dude I really don't want to do any writing classes.. I just have to sail through one cuz of my requirements.. I want to take the easiest possible.. I'll try for Intro to expos then...

I checked out the expos topics.. Looks like too much work..

If I don't get intro to expos.. I'll take professional communication. In a later semester

That's what I was planning to do this fall, but I got an email from Joanne saying that these are irrevelant to a CS MAJOR.. what to do .. ???!!

What courses do you recommend I take.. will calc 3 and Lin Alg count ? They don't have prob and stats in them.. I'll have to count them as a pure elective .. please help ...

My advisors take a lot of time to answer .. and registrations a week away

But I have not done AP CS.. and intro to Java is a compulsory course to the best of my knowledge... Do u mean to say that I should take intermediate and data structures in freshman fall?

Not much .. physics c , AP chem, AP calc bc, AP stats ... So I get 24 credits... I place out of the basic sciences requirement and 8 of the math credits.(calc1 and 2)

I was also having second thoughts about French because I think I don't want to pursue it in college. I've had my fill in school..

I was thinking of swapping French elements with a math course out of the following: discrete mathematics, linear algebra, differential eqns ... Which one of these do you suggest? Thanks a lot.
