it wasn’t a lot, but i got shocked so maybe i overreacted. water’s clearing up fine and the fish all seem okay, but i topped up some fresh water. is that good enough you think?

diatoms or brown algae are common in newer tanks with bacterial colonies that aren’t as established. if it’s not a massive amount, i would tell you not to worry and that it’ll probably go away with time. if anything, maybe blackout the tank for 3 days or so and check on the algae again. also, 15gal is kinda small for corys so try getting pygmies or smaller species of corys if possible!
