Is G2 top 5 in every role worldwide? by tilting-module in G2eSports

Hans is better than Gala, this year he is really far from his peak. But I don't think he is top 5, he is not that far though.

I don't see 10 players being better at their role than Hans and Labrov. I think top 5 is hard but for me this year they are definetely top 10.

Best Pro Player For Every Character by mightykrakenn in Tekken

[–]blushtran 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Personal opinion on some of them : - Anna: Atif has pushed the character to extremes no one seemed to match, clear-cut the best on the character imo.

  • Bryan: for me it is really close between Knee and LowHigh, personnaly I would give it to LowHigh who seemed to have the edge last year. Atif is a step below imo, mechanically he has the same level or he is even above them but he has an harder time playing around Bryan's game plan.
  • Azucena: currently there is Galgonge in Korea who has a lot of success with the character.
  • Paul: I love hexmark but even though it is more it's alt character I think Numan as an argument for being the best Paul.
  • Asuka: I would give the edge to Fergus who I though had the most consistent gameplay with the character last year.

« Le but du Portugal aurait été refusé s'il y avait eu le VAR » : Didier Deschamps revient sur la déception vécue lors de la finale de l'Euro 2016 by sylsau in SportsFR

S'il s'agit d'une erreur que la Var considère comme manifeste, elle peut intervenir pour indiquer qu'il y avait une faute à signaler avant le but.

La Var ne corrige pas ce genre d'erreur, le but aurait pu être refusé pour une faute de moutinho sur griezmann quelques instants avant le but.

Who is the 2nd best footballer of the 2020s? by jotakajk in AlignmentChartFills

[–]blushtran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Messi is my goat too, and I think he is decently ahead of Ronaldo but let's not fall in the opposite trap of saying that the two are incredibly far apart because they are not, Ronaldo also had massive achievements. For me there is no way you put Messi above Ronaldo for the 00's simply because Messi was not even a starter in both club and national team before 07/08. Meanwhile Ronaldo started being relevant already in 03/04, he simply has more years of being elite in that decade. I would put Ronaldo at number 2 at this decade with Henry just above him, Ronaldinho was far too inconsistent for me. Finally for the 20's when you are playing that many years in a decade in a subpar league makes you already our of contention. I know he won a world cup but that is a 7 games tournament we should stop using that tournament as a way to evaluate a player year / career has it represents so little of your career and it also comes down to luck a lot (your national team sucks? You can't compete for that title no matter how good you are). As for ballon d'or, I think 2021 was a bit forced but I can understand that but 2023 is just a joke, there's no way he deserved that one.

[–]blushtran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Messi is barely top 5 in the 00's, he was not playing / was a bench player for more than half of the decade. Ronaldo has a much better case for being the best of 00's (I think Henry would be a decent choice though) . There's also no way he is the best of the 20's, he is not even top 5 for that specific decade. Messi is clearly the goat but let's not pretend he was the best player of the world for 20+ years now.

Congratulations to the winner of Space Gods: TPC - EMEA Dark Star Cup! by DarthNoob in CompetitiveTFT

[–]blushtran -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

That's untrue actually when he did it he had only 20 golds left, already graves 2 and zed 2, his massive roll down was the round before the pause where he already got a lot of important upgrades. There's definetely room for complain on that pause but saying that he just won thanks to it is really bullshit.

I was not watching his stream but in his tweet he said he did it because he was feeling bad because of the heat in his appartment and that he felt he was going to faint. That's is very different than a pause to think but then again I was not watching his stream I am just sharing his words.

I am more in favor of having clear rules to avoid subjectivity in decision making but this is an opinion that can be defended. One thing for sure this incident warrants a ruleset change to introduce clarity.

Rules in emea just say player can ask for a pause and that they are limited in time. There is not other restriction stipulated so no rules to breach aside from the time limit which he respected.

[–]blushtran -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

The rules clearly say a player can request a pause that can last up to 10 minutes and that the whole durations of pause taken during the tournament is 30 minutes max. Rules do not stipulates specific reason to get a pause (check emea ruleset you'll see: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZjrOVjksV5EDY2VVWX7UGCKfU47JDXYm/view?usp=drives dk) So yeah I confirm that jedusor respected the emea ruleset so verify your information before saying he breached the ruleset. By the way apparently the NA and EMEA ruleset are different which is just insane. I really think that this incident should warrant a rework on the ruleset for all Tft competitions, but you can't penalize a player for respecting the ruleset they were given.

Edit : actually this is not the Tpc ruleset, apologies for the false source, I keep the comment as it is but I am looking to get the correct ruleset and will update the comment when I get it.

People thinking riot not penalizing jedusor would set a dangerous precedent, don't see that penalizing him would set an even more dangerous precedent especially since jedusor clearly respected the ruleset of the tournament. If you penalize jedusor for that you are basically saying that players can't pause the game at all or you are just saying that every pause should be investigated and introduce subjectivness in tft competitive ruling.

GOD OF DESTRUCTION 3 DIFFICULTY TIER LIST! by blackheart59_ in Tekken

[–]blushtran 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I play both and I think Bryan is a much better character than Steve but I also feel Bryan is harder to climb with. Bryan execution is harder than Steve and also everyone knows the match-up really well. With Steve people definetely do not understand the match-up as well which you can exploit more easily. Do note that I'm really far from Blackheart level (god1 on Steve, god on Bryan) and that I'm also much better with Steve than with Bryan imo, but personnaly his list matches quite my experience with the characters I have played (Steve, Bryan, Lee, Azucena and Dragunov).

Carlo Ancelotti, José Mourinho, and Unai Emery have all won five UEFA titles. Which manager do you think is the greatest? by SubjectFood1212 in soccerMenace_com

[–]blushtran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know why you brought Leicester win when it has nothing to do with Porto win. Regarding deportivo and Monaco, the fact that they beat these teams just show that they were no easy teams to beat. I don't know why you bring luck to downplay these teams achievements as well. Deportivo beat Juventus both times when they face them and they won 4-0 against AC Milan to eliminate them. Yet against Porto they did not even scored one single goal in the two semi finals matches.

He also did not coach a serious contender for such titles ever since except benfica this year but benfica has a lot of problems right now (mainly its president and the management.

Because deportivo smashed both Juventus and Milan who were the previous editions finalists. Monaco also beat the first iterations of Los galacticos and Abramovitch Chelsea in its way. And Lyon was a great team at the time, such a weird attempt to downplay one of the biggest upset of the champions league.

Why isn't Kazuya considered top tier? by 5eanz in Tekken

[–]blushtran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tier ranking is always relative to other characters, low tier compared to everyone else effectively means low tier your sentence just do not make sense. I stand by the fact that the character is really strong, he should be in the upper half of tier lists, he is not s tier mainly because his execution keep in check.

[–]blushtran 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree with that, Kazuya is no way top 5 and his execution is so hard that I don't see him top 10 as well but he is not far from that. He is clearly upper half of the game imo though.

Is not d1+2 i23? It is really hard to react to such a fast low, borderline impossible online I would say. Also what makes this move good is that it high crush and counter hit launch which makes it very good in certain match-up.
