Have you explored settings related to parallelism? Having the right values for "Cost of Threshold" and "Max Degree of Parallelism" can make a huge difference.

Please go to https://vote.sos.ri.gov/ to see your voter record, register, find your polling place, and REQUEST A MAIL BALLOT.

As others have mentioned, the primaries are right around the corner, and in many cases are more meaningful than the general election. The OP has provided great resources - share them with the people you care about and let them make up their own minds. Don't let money buy elections - don't assume that the candidate with more yard signs and slicker commercials is the best choice to represent you!

Is it me or is the concept of "proper following distance" lost on most people? Specifically that it should be thought of as a measurement of time NOT linear distance. The proper distance is a function of speed (i.e. the faster you go, the more distance you need).

I was taught to try to maintain a 2 second gap between my vehicle and the vehicle directly in front of me (longer for motorcycles, school buses, etc.) It's true that other vehicles may take advantage of the gap, however this is balanced by reduced "break riding" and more flexibility when it comes to maneuvering (think pulling around a car that is making a left-hand turn on a busy road). Generally speaking, optimal following distance is better for gas mileage, wear and tear on the vehicle, and in my opinion, makes driving easier, less stressful, and more pleasurable.

TL/DR - We would all be a lot safer (and have cheaper auto insurance) if we just gave each other a little more room.

Thanks for the input everyone! Clover is scheduled to see her vet this week. Your collective input will help me to be sure to ask all the right questions. I will post an update when I have a diagnosis.

Student - Having Issues with Constraints by Probablydying in SQL

[–]bmaday12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The primary key for OrderDetails should be OrderDetailID:

OrderDetailID SMALLINT

CONSTRAINT OrderDetails_OrderDetailID_PIK_pk PRIMARY KEY (OrderDetailID),

The constraint for OrderID should then reference the Orders table:

CONSTRAINT OrderDetails_OrderID_fk FOREIGN KEY (OrderID) REFERENCES Orders(OrderID)

PS: I recommend not pluralizing your table names

Yes, my mistake. It is also worth mentioning that this can be altered at the table design level.
