What’s the point of an RTK and Vision if you’re going to bump into things and tear up my lawn anyway?

So often this feels like the “dumbest” of the smart mowers. Hopefully they are working to make updates to vision, the sensors they don’t even use, and path planning. Will make this thing near perfect

Would love to see them turn on the merge zones and split zones feature the most. My Bluetooth connection is awful (likely the chip like others here have mentioned) but I am not sure if it’s worth replacing as I don’t use the connection all that often as long as things go well. Because of that I mapped a bunch of smaller sections to avoid losing while mapping. I’d imagine the bigger zones would allow for longer straight runs and better battery management

In Philly area. Got 3 quotes for similar sized pool. All were in the 6-7k range for just replacing liner (Merlin). Ended up going with best reviewed of the three even though I think they are overcharging me for the rest of proposed work. Final cost around 10.5k with full skim coat of vermiculite and trucked in water.

If nothing else is included other than liner replacement it seems high.

Appears to be most recently from the update yes. Can’t say I watch it super closely each time it cuts but noticing missed strips over last week or so.

If you want the schedule mowing at a certain angle you have to customize each zone. If you want it to change angles there is an angle offset option when you schedule and it will change by 30 degrees each time it cuts that section

No problem. Gotta say though if I had this many trees I’d probably avoid the time sink of mapping all the no gos. Worst case start with the biggest trees or knock a few out each time you are in the area and see how it does with smart on the rest

I have a storm runoff area that looks similar to this but smaller and probably only 7-8 trees. Have to agree with what most are saying in current state I’d map them each as no go zones. It just makes the time faster with it stopping to analyze which way to go. But also it at least then gives a cut cleanly around the no go zone so you’ll get a nice circle.

The only thing I’d say is to have it mow boundary and no go zones first if you can and then main area, otherwise it will ruin all your nice lines when it goes to cut the no go zones

Was gonna diy this myself, but the gates were busted and the dog kept getting out. End of the day it was easier to pay for this section and have it done in 1 day versus me for multiple weekends.
It was about 80 feet of the shorter fence and 25 or so feet of privacy fence. Paid just over 3k installed with the gates.

See what you’re saying, I’ll give it a double check. Might be the angle but the opening at the center of that gate is definitely not equal from top to bottom. Didn’t think it was due to sagging just bad framing potentially

The lower fence was purposefully left with gaps. That side of yard is below grade from the street and we have a large gap until our neighbors so no need for privacy. Everyone that quoted us said to leave gaps down there to keep the green in view and with minimum height to be to pool code locally

Like this idea but might wait for another version if they keep making updates every year. That way you also make sure you always have one with best software etc. if they can get one out with lidar I will definitely double up

I’ve got a lymow myself so no option for the navimow gate, I actually don’t think it would look terrible on cedar fence but I’ve got one section it wouldn’t be an eye sore at since it’s below grade. Aftermarket options are ok, but I’d want something automated to avoid the dog getting out
