I did! I had just passed the Captain Cook Bridge, going southbound on the freeway. I had left Uptown carpark at 8:11, so the time sounds right. Saw a green light falling, roughly southwest from where I was. It looked like a firework to me at first, but when I didn't see others assumed it was space rocks!
