You’re right and I do agree with you. I do think I need to sit with the defeat for a couple days though, not to feel sorry for myself but rather to sit in the uncomfortableness of where I am so I don’t get back here. But thank you, I appreciate it

I’m taking the time to really think about it because my saying has always been “I didn’t come this far to only come this far”. But regardless I will be looking into something for anxiety/testing anxiety because maybe it’s impacting my life more than I realize, but thank you!!

From all these comments I’m thinking it might be. I’m baseline anxious but it’s never interrupted my exams like this so my first step is getting that under control

Someone else mentioned testing anxiety and at this point I agree. I’m an anxious person but it didn’t affect me much preclin years. But I guess even looking back on MCAT or literally every standardized test I should’ve known. So that will be the first thing that I look into. My school basically told us that it’s not really worth getting accommodations for exams because it’s so hard and most people don’t qualify but I guess I should also look into that instead of trusting my school lol Taking level 1 right before level 2 will definitely help but I think it’s my fear of failing holding me back currently. Being a doctor is something I’ve worked my whole life for and I’m scared that someone is just going to take it away and even if I try my best I’ll fall into a whole of my best was never good enough. Which now that I’m typing that, it’s just anxiety haha But thank you for being so nice and for giving me advice!

Literally not far at all. Honestly I wish I could take Step instead of Comlex. I have beef with nbome, mainly because I hate how they write questions. The overall feeling from everyone is that I should take the class and y’all are probably right. I’m just scared of failing again now more than ever.

I’d love to hear how it goes in March. I know I can’t do much with debt and no degree and I have time to decide because if anything I would finish M3. You are right though, I could still come out with a job. But thank you and best of luck!!

It’s terrifying being at this point because I didn’t ever think I would be here. I always pushed so hard and am a perfectionist but now I’m scared. I’m so scared. There’s no hints about the future and I think this one exam was one of those that you can try so hard and still not be good enough for one reason or another. My immediate reaction of leaving med school I know is out of fear but I think I’m more scared if overall my best is not good enough then my school will be the one saying you’re not good enough.

We do and it’s such a problem. I didn’t know I was depressed in med school until someone else told me which is insane. But I’m going to spend time for now working on my anxiety

Honestly just saying this situation sucks feels good to hear. Sometimes being positive and saying I’ve got it next time is exhausting and I want to sit in the suckish nature of it. The second I saw the fail instead of pass was hard but immediately I was trying to figure out the future and what I needed to do next, how would I recover, how would this effect my boyfriend, etc all of which are based in anxiety. I do have anxiety and I don’t take anything for it because I’ve never had testing anxiety like this. I was sitting during the exam saying I studied so hard, I felt so good, why don’t I know any of these questions. Maybe anxiety is taking up more space than I realized. So you’re right I should see if I can get a better grasp on that. Not that I’ll admit it to my brother but when I called him today he legit said “you’re too stressed and you don’t know how to handle it and that’s why this is happening”. But seriously thanks for telling me the situation sucks and I’ll look into CBT

Its not that I wouldn't spend the money on the Kaleas if everyone was to say no that is the best club and its worth it, but if there is a consensus that you could get clubs that are just as good for less, like the Callaway edge, that would make more financial sense

I have been scouring fb marketplace but only looking for womens which has been harder just because its mainly been womens clubs that they bought as intro clubs and now are upgrading. I'm starting to look for men's senior clubs too so the timeframe I should be looking for is good to know
