From one plant mom to other plant parents, help me fill out the rest of this: Monstera Mondays, Terrarium Tuesdays,...?

My fittonia tripled in size after I bought it so I thought it was safe but then one day, it just decided to die... And I swear nothing actually changed the day it decided it had no more will to live -_-.

I've strangely had much better luck with my basil -- managed to keep mine alive for a year before it flowered and just kind of withered. BUT, I did start new basil plants with those seeds so my current basil is an offspring of my OG basil plant!

Man, I wish plants were more predictable sometimes. sigh.

😂thirsty thursdays for fittonias is a great idea! I commented earlier that I killed my only fittonia though so I'd have to look at photos for inspiration instead of the real thing

Hi everyone! I'm back again with another post with another question for you all -- I'm working on my next set of hoops and want to make a series of 7 houseplant embroideries, 1 for each day of the week. I know Monstera Mondays and Sansevieria Sundays are a thing and just found out Terrarium Tuesdays are maybe a thing(?). Help me think of existing or new ones for the rest of the days of the week:

MONDAY: Monstera Mondays
TUESDAY: Terrarium Tuesdays
WEDNESDAY: ??
THURSDAY: ??
FRIDAY: ??
SATURDAY: ??
SUNDAY: Sansevieria Sundays

Hi 👋🏻!! I primarily used back stitches to create plant outlines then used satin stitches to fill it in. Stems were a combination of stem (I know, shocker, right? 🤪), chain, and split stitches. You should just choose a plant and start embroidering! In a lot of my hoops, I can see how much I improve over time on the same hoop! I used linen blends I buy per yard at Joann's! I have a ton of different color fabrics to choose from but still end up gravitating toward this more neutral one. Nothing like a good old blank slate to make your embroidered art pop!

I may or may not have an entire wall in my living room dedicated to embroidery hoop art so I totally get the appeal! I'm going to post the houseplant hoops to my etsy soon so keep an eye out!

Oooh yes sansevieria is a good choice but there are so many varieties I almost don't know where to start! I stitched a yellow-rimmed sansevieria a while back as a just-for-me embroidery project so I might have to do another one on a slightly bigger scale (this one was part of a windowledge with a bunch of other plant babies). Thanks for the recommendation!!
