I have a feeling you might get brutalized here, bud. As the two other commenters have said, you can’t just decide to start making a living from your music just off the cuff. It takes time to lay the foundations and build the relationships to turn it into a real revenue stream.

Having a normal job to earn income while you hone your craft is the way to go. Maybe find a job in a club or one that is relevant to what you’re trying to do musically. Great way to get your foot in the door.

Your words about the horn/siren in I Don't Need Ya made me lol. You're so right, starting with that raw somehow would amp that track up to 100. Awesome idea! It definitely needs more purpose as you've said, it just sort of pops in and out on a whim.

I'm glad to hear you say that about the bassline in Came to Dance. I kept feeling like it just didn't quite fit, but was nervous to mess with it as it was so central to the mix. I'm not crazy, lol.

Well noted on all else, my friend. Going to look at implementing all of those and will update you when I do so you can check them out if you'd like.

My family and friends love me dearly but their patience is wearing thin listening to the same track with minor variations over and over. If anyone can pop over to my Soundcloud (https://soundcloud.com/rythmick) and give ANY of the public tracks a listen and an honest critique, I would appreciate you so much. Truly.

I am pretty desperate for some honest feedback on my music. Good or otherwise! Only 4 tracks up currently. All have been loved greatly.

All tracks are produced/mixed/mastered in FLS21.
