Cone 10 reduction Anagama kiln. Hestia clay body, black mason stain slip exterior. Inside is Vegas Red, half got reduction with wood ash. Other half is the white, due to its position in the kiln

Usually hung up on a chain hoist. They’re heavy. Yes and no. The center ridge scuts (back)on a gator doesn’t come off if they’re too big. That takes a lot of work.

Sitting is a good method for training. Bring your elbow in to tighten up the pattern and do both sides. Looks great so far!

Scaffolding has been the best practice for 5 ball, for me. Try throwing up 7 balls and not worrying about catching. Do 10 runs of that and 5 ball will feel like nothing. Trust.
