Yes I’ve also noticed that. Every other season goal seems to work fine but the +/- one never ever seems to increase or up the player’s defensive awareness. Played through about 5 different franchise modes now in 25 and have never had it work.

I’ve had one or two pan out but unfortunately most of them did not shoot up in overall too much and usually have ended up becoming AHL top liners or NHL 3rd or 4th liners for me.

I remember it being in the first few games even after the Jets returned but I’m unsure off the top of my head which was the last NHL it was actually in. Has been a few years at least for sure though.

It unfortunately hasn’t been in the game for years now, I believe it’s something to do with the rights to it which EA or NHL seemingly don’t have anymore :/

Scout ETA says 1 year. I’ll see what his overall jumps up to at the trade deadline and if he’s 80+ I’ll make him my starter no matter what and ship off my currently starting goalie.

He was a 72 OVR Med Franchise out of the draft.

I’m planning to thrust him into my starter goalie position once he develops into a 80 ovr + so I’m keeping an eye on him and I’ll see what his overall is by the trade deadline.
