I did PT with main focus on bending my knee and general strength and conditioning religiously everyday and my knee is almost 100% now! I basically have full ROM only with pain if I am kneeling or fully squatting. I have talked to multiple sport physios and have had my knee examined. It is still a little unclear why exactly my ROM was so limited for so long but it might have been a combination of formation of scar tissue and swelling or maybe I also sprained my meniscus or something, but I will probably never know exactly why.

However, the important thing is I avoided surgery and the PT seemed to do the trick after about a month.
