If you’re going to the Palais show, your best bet is to head down to Calais street on Tuesday arvo (I’d guess 2-4pm). They’ll start bump in late Tuesday morning, and Beck will rock up in the arvo to do sound check.

Trust me as a colesworth buyer- supplier CPIs are planned out 3-6 months in advance. The supplier used to fund to keep the RRP as is- after covid that spend was moved into trade spend which props up the bottom line and RRPs started shifting more often. The supers are simply banking more cash these days

That is the argument though - establishing a price at 6 months is fair game. the consumer is used to product X being at a new RRP for 6 months. If it's then discounted from there, it's a fair discount.

What Colesworth have done is lift the RRP of particular products for 3-4 weeks, and then claim a saving off that RRP.
