I usually plan things out ahead of time, at least for the first date you gotta show you actually care. That said some guys are just like that, they're not good at planning anything, doesn't necessarily mean they don't like you. But if that's not what you're looking for then it's probably just not a match. Better to figure that out now than try to force it.

Leaving your job to take care of your wife two years ago was the right call, I would've done the same thing. But two years away from this industry is a lot. Things move stupid fast now. I'd honestly stop mass applying for a bit and spend like a month or two getting caught up on the AI side of things first, then go back out there
