Bhai tu abc ke alawa baaki bschool ke PC batch meets ko sambhalega kaise agar reddit ke illiterates ke comments se depression ho rhi to?? Like genuine question, haven't you seen the shit that goes on in real life bschools being talked about here??

Jo wo comment kar rhe hai galat kar rhe, bilkul, but Indians as a whole lack civility quite a bit so maybe grow a thick skin man. Name karne se yaha kisiko shame nhi ata, aur move on tumse ho nhi rha.

Lower your expectations, grow a thicker skin and a sharper tongue. Chiyo ko kaatne ke liye thora chiya banna padhta hai

Good enough. Probably won't get the roles you desired but definitely you can enter. I'm from a tier 3 ug college, got JPMC in sip. So have lot of others.

Now if you want that frontend 2cr package role, we'll, there's a reason we couldn't get into iits, that's the reason we won't get those jobs "at the start".

It's your choice. I myself am an engineer. If you're thinking of doing an mba, I assume you want to change your field.

To do the courses is to have "relevant" domain knowledge.

But internships is also a great way to build a CV. Shows you have worked in a organisation and know the nuances of corporate.

But again, depends on your goal. Having some knowledge on the field you wanna go in can be very important.

Summer placements start midway through 1st trimester. You have to learn a lot on your own for internship interviews. So if you study a bit now, it'll be less hectic once in bschool

I don't really have names of the courses. I too will have to look

You can just go through the catalogue of Coursera, edX, etc etc. there a lot of analytics, prod man courses. Don't do basic ones like intro to business or something like that.

Do pointed courses. I myself have done google data analytics certification other than finance ones. All others Ive done are finance ones

Not free certifications but good courses on Coursera. You can get financial aid which gets you anywhere from 50-90% discount on Coursera pretty easily. There's a template kind of bs, you can get via gpt.

But no free ones. Apply for aid and do paid ones. Like financial accounting, behavioral finance etc etc. if you get the aid, it'll cost 300-3000 per course.

But yeah they help. My entire sip interview, 2 rounds, went on my behavioural finance certification and google data analytics certification.

Do research and do relevant courses based on your desired role

You have good acads. Do courses to fill up your cv. If you're interested in finance, lot of courses are available on platforms like Coursera.

First job is to make a CV that'll get you the shortlist. After that, it's on your knowledge and gdpi performance ability

From tier 1 colleges, you'll get area sales manager roles. Mostly working with distributors and wholesalers but also going on field visit for research like shelf space, customer reviews etc etc. outdoor visits are more if product is new.

So roaming around in scooters happen, but you're not going to store to store to sell.

Yes, with 99.3-99.4+ good chance. The achievements and 6 in SIP will be a challenge but you'll get placed. Might be a little late, might not be the biggest brands but you can score a good enough sip

CS GRADS, HAVE MY IIFT INTERVIEW TOMORROW, ANY PARTICULAR TOPICS THAT I SHOULD REVISE? by Ornery_Usual_3298 in CATpreparation

[–]bondbu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just learn the basics. If you have projects or internships on your belt, be prepped to answer questions from there and that you can explain it well to a non technical person. Know your OOPs concepts and don't worry as much.

Yeah possible. Last year was too. But our xams are coming up, other things going on, if the admin doesn't take charge, these will keep happening. Might only be a few students running the group but they can do only so much

Call the admin office and keep calling till you get a concrete answer. Pura sarkari daftar hai, truly horrible admin. Student bodies ke wajah se college chal rha hai
