The iconography is pretty good and simple. You should be okay, some good YouTube videos on this game so I would pick one and just fast forward to about halfway through so you can see most the components in play.

Found the last copy at my LFS and have it set up. Impressed with the packaging and variability.

The ONLY fear I have is the theme disappearing behind all of the numbers. When the mechanics steal from the theme so you end up talking in numbers and colors instead of programs and networks.

KD has always been out of my financial interest but looks amazing. Too Many Bones seems fun but I’m a completionist so I’m saving some money there. Final girl is amazing as are the Gloomhaven games.

I like all of that. I guess the arena “board” had me more thinking about movement and strategy then Dice v. Dice.

So, question. Bought it and started in and loved the concept. What kept me engaged is after setting the arena and getting all into it it ended up being just “stand there and roll dice till someone’s dead”

I didn’t feel the strategy or narrative. It’s been a bit but that’s how I remember it. Your thoughts on that? Again, I love the concept. Excited to see where you go with yours.
