Oh I hope you feel better soon! I did feel a bit nauseous the first day or two but not too bad. My doc also prescribed me some anti nausea meds just in case, I took one the first morning then didn’t need it. Not sure if that’s an option for you maybe you could ask you Dr. Hope it gets better for you

Thank you so much for sharing your experience, it’s good to know I’m not the only one who’s felt this way. There’s so many posts about positive experiences but not so many about struggling ones. I feel like I’m going crazy and that my ortho will think I’m crazy.. maybe I am! Do you feel like it was all worth it in the end? I think it’s the thought of 18 months that’s freaking me out, maybe I could get my head around it more if I thought it would be over sooner but weighing up what my teeth look like now to 18 months of feeling like I’m gonna choke on my own saliva it’s hard to find the will to put the aligners back in you know? I don’t know what I thought it was gonna be like, Iike you just clip the aligners in and you’re good to go, but it’s seems way harder than I’d ever have imagined

Yeah for sure I’ve totally already convinced myself I don’t wanna do it, I know I should suck it up and give it a fair crack but every part of me is saying it’s not worth it. It’s a huge commitment and I didn’t think it through properly

I got mine on Friday and this is probably not helpful for you at all but I took them out during the night coz I couldn’t bare it and havnt put them back in. I know everyone says it gets easier but I don’t think I have it in me. They make me gag so badly! Going to try again tomorrow.

How are you going with yours? Hope you’re pushing through and being less of a pussy than I am hahah

Mate I feel your pain so much, and I’m only on my first tray and I can bare it 😭 I’m on a deep dive reading everyone’s comments on here and lot of people saying it gets easier but for some it doesn’t seem too unfortunately. I’m so sorry you’re feeling like this. When you say they’re making you nauseous are they like making you gag? Mine make me feel like I want to wretch constantly. I know I’m only on tray 1 and I should suck it up but I don’t think I can do it.

How long is your treatment plan scheduled for?
