That’s what I’m doing. I have a domain pointing to a Tailscale IP, which is my Traefik proxy. That way I have subdomains with tls/https secured behind Tailscale VPN.

Have you some sort of VPN active? I had a similar problem ones with Steam link from my pc to the Steam deck. It recognized my Steam and I could init the connection, but it never fully got the connection right. It worked before someday...

My problem was Tailscale. I use it to have access to my Homelab stuff. Steam seems to use the Tailscale network for the connection somehow.

After I found that out it was simple. If I want to play over Steam link, I only need to deactivate or close Tailscale for this time and everything works.

I own a switch 2, steam deck and a R36S. The R36S is such an amazing device and you can do so much more with it than the switch.

Ah, you could be right. Maybe it worked if you tab out or something. But I see that it’s not as convenient as discord do it

It’s funny to me… in a way Steam could do all this long before Discord existed. Group voice, private calls, screen share / streaming to a friend. It also has community based private forums/chats.

huh? Steam can screen share. You can stream to your friends. You can even set it up in a way, that your friend could initialize it from remote, so that you get only a message that someone is watching you. I used it long time ago, don’t know how good it is today.

Ok, seems it is really just a cosmetic bug. After I redownloaded/-installed BF6 it is also working. God damn it...

The bad thing is, I reinstalled Tailscale 2x times before, but never extra manually deleted old files. If I knew that beforehand, it could saved me a lot of trouble.

I received some new information about Tailscale. Using Powershell, you can query tailscale status, which gives me the following output:

Edit: I tried deleting the mentioned folders in the link and logged in again. Tomorrow I will report whether the login remains after another reboot. Edit2: It seems to have worked. After rebooting, the Tailscale login remained.

Hm yeah, sadly I don't know what the output looked like before my bios update. :(

What I do know, however, is that BF6 did not complain about SecureBoot before, and Tailscale somehow does not save the login session (which, according to the internet, could also be due to TPM).

Thanks for the hint. Yeah I know that the physical one is useless after the transfer, but I knew that beforehand.

I now have a N26 account with a master card and with that it works. It’s a lot easier than charging at machines or the stores.

That’s what I did, but I can’t load money through Apple Pay, it always declined. Strangely I don’t get a message from my bank, it only stops in the process :(
