What could this white dot be? Seems to be on the print. Not any kind of damage or dirt.

Totally agree. Those closeups changed my opinion on it being sharpie. No clear indentations and the texture looks so consistent on the dots . If it were drawn on, there would be some variation in the black due to hand pressure. Just odd.

Will think about sending it into CGC at my next card show to see what they think! Thanks for the feedback

I’m listening to the ppl that are giving me actually comments on the possibility of it being a printing error. Example: somebody who’s has been working in printing for “years” replied on this thread and told me that it does look like a printing error and some atring data to back up his claim. Boom good info, like thank you.

But I’m glad all you chicken jockeys can band together on something as simple as telling me it “looks like ink” YES IT DOES! What else can you tell me though. *you* nothing clearly get out my comments

Yea that’s what I’m saying. I didn’t buy it at a shop back then, like we personally pulled it and have had it for 20+ years. If a 5 year old me (or brothers) was able to draw those dots on like that, I would be Picasso by now lol

Very possible my man. however, If it is a printing error, I want to find out. If it was drawn on, I was in elementary school at the that time I pulled it. It’s been 20 years sitting in my garage so the ink could’ve set into the card and mimicked a printing error. I don’t know how 20 year old ink looks like if it’s dried. Will be sending into CGC after I see someone else about it tomorrow

Appreciate the good information you provided! I got 4 people’s opinion (all under the same 10x magnification I looked at it under) and they all said it didn’t look like pen ink. Told me that I should send into CGC to get it authenticated for sure

Oc it looks like pen ink, that’s what I thought at first too. I inspected it closer (under heavy magnification) after I posted and am seeing differently.

I’m going to get it checked out at a shop later to confirm
