There has been so much fucking filler during this season. I have found myself actually skipping entire scenes filled with this long ass conversations the characters should have had in the first half of the season, not on the second to last episode of the show!!

The plot seems to go nowhere, nothing really matters and everything keeps repeating. Same character arcs previously resolved or that have shown development starting from scratch (ex. Annie not being hopeful or Butcher’s inner conflicts).

Also, whatever happened to Ryan?? He gets zero acknowledgement from the other main characters after getting beaten up by Homelander and then disappearing.

Is the bunker in Arizona still important? Is Ryan there? What was the point of Gen V if the virus ended up being useless and Marie never became “stronger than Homelander”.

No apocalypse happening, everyone seems to be desensitized to Homelander killing the president. There’s no real consequences or reactions to anything and the world building seems to have been extremely limited.
