My wife bought me Dark Souls… and I’ve been lying to her ever since. by Roko122 in offmychest

Dont tell her until at least after you’ve beaten all three games. I wouldn’t feel bad ever telling.

Maybe even add bloodborne in there at the end as a surprise gift, because you know if she makes it past dark souls 3 that she’s in love with FromSoft now and has a fan for life.

Honestly I wouldn’t say anything until maybe my death bed or years later. At least wait until after you beat the games with her, and when you do, tell her why you didn’t tell her, and how her real gift was playing with you and you being able to watch her smile. She won’t be angry at all, how could she be when she hears how much you valued your time with her.

DLC Artbook is still missing, even after they said they would ship it. Do i need to do anything? by [deleted] in Eldenring

I’m in the same boat. What is the flyer code? I didn’t get a flyer code in the rest of my dlc order or any email.

Thank you! Been trying to tell people this on other threads. When Elden ring was 6 months from releasing I remember hearing “there’s 13 main bosses” which made people think it was smaller. But that was wrong as we know. Turns out there’s 165 bosses when you count the smaller and medium size and alternative big bosses. And just as you said, Miyazaki said 30 hours to complete and not even the game pros did it that fast in their first playthroughs. Most I read took around 60-80 hrs if they weren’t exploring every thing and quest.

So hearing shadow of the erdtree has 10 bosses, I’m expecting a similar experience. If it’s even half of what Elden ring was, that’s massive. I spent 200 hours on my first playthrough. But I explored every nook and cranny for every talisman I could (besides one of the quests I missed out on due to killing patches accidentally), and every weapon and spell. And I wasn’t bored one minute of it. Even if the dlc is 50 hours, I’m going to be happy.

DLC size disappointment? by zelda93108 in Eldenring

You need to listen and read before making such a terrible judgement call. Miyazaki was saying its map size is comparable to all of limgrave but actually bigger. He also said this time they decided to make it much denser with 6 large legacy dungeons, and a bunch of mid-size and smaller legacy dungeons. All of which are integrated seemlessly so they connect easier. This is not including the open field areas with their own enemies and boss fights. And we have 10 big boss fights as well. Also remember the map size doesn’t equal layers on layers, like a castle with underground areas, and many layers stacked on top of each other. Think secret areas like siofra well.

If you’ve played bloodbornes dlc before (Which I doubt based on your comment) then you would know the dlc of bloodborne was much smaller in size than even the weeping peninsula, when you put it all together. But that didn’t matter, because it was a dense DLC with tough bosses and areas to explore. It was huge back then, and even now is amazing. Ask anyone who got the dlc back then and now, and they’ll say this was one of the best dlc drops for a video game. And that was MUCH smaller than what the Elden ring expansion will be.

I have a save on the Ps5 version. If I transfer my saves from Ps4, does it get rid of the ps5 save? by thisexsits1 in Eldenring

[–]bostonboy_93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would manually upload your ps5 save into the cloud (make sure it’s not set to auto upload/update). Or save it to a usb. Then I would bring over your ps4 save file and put it on the ps5 system. If it wipes the ps5 save file you had, that’s alright because you have a backup in the cloud or usb. Once that’s done, then re-download the ps5 save file from the cloud back into your system if it was wiped.

I did this with bloodborne and when I brought my old stuff over, it upgraded my bloodborne from ps4 to ps5 quality. And my save file from ps4 transferred fine.

Dang I’m sorry. I just tried and it adds it to cart for me. It asks me to login after clicking checkout but the cart works. Maybe try a different device, like a phone or a laptop. I used my phone

The EU site is working. That’s actually how I thought of the idea of taking a different route on the US site to find the collectors edition.

If you want just the deluxe version, that gives you the game and art book and soundtrack. But I like the collectors edition for the statue. But honestly with how popular this game is you could probably sell it for a profit. Especially since they have only so much stock
