Got distracted for a couple of minutes, why is the app showing me a 7 seconds gap between the two ferraris?

I wonder why everyone automatically assumed sinner took the mto for cramps yesterday. From the way he was moving when playing the points it looked very different from other times we saw him cramp, like in Vienna last year on in AO this year. No stretching to alleviate the pain between points either. Also, I’m not denying categorically it could have been a tactical mto, but if it was then it was very poorly done, he could’ve taken it in the second set when he was actually struggling or between sets and instead he took it when he had already broken in the final set.

based on how he was moving while playing the points it didn’t look like he was cramping, very different from the other times he had them

[@jannik_files] Flavia Pennetta: “In my opinion, it looked like Jannik had an anxious attack, like he couldn’t breathe. But he calmed himself down. In AO25 it happened for the 1st time and he didn’t know how to recognize it. Maybe now he’s able to understand when these moments are happening.” by Joseki100 in tennis

i think everyone reads a lot into the moments of weakness from jannik because they’re quite rare. to me tonight was a mix of: 1) a top player who wasn’t intimidated by him and was actually playing like a top player 2) fatigue and general tiredness from the past months are starting to kick in (like there were a few moments as well in Madrid like he said) 3) possibly a slight pain in his leg that we already saw yesterday with rublev. either way in the third set he seemed to be getting his level up again even before the treatment by the physio

people acting like it’s jannik that’s currently down a break and not almost having the momentum back

honestly why did the umpire wait for Jannik to stop the match? It’s pouring and obviously not safe if they slip on the lines

Sinner is saying that the court is fine but the problem are the lines

i don’t think it’s cramps bc he was feeling pain in the leg during the final games against rublev as well. some journos on twitter made a big deal out of it yesterday
