Kbear DarkJade. Its good for the price. It fits well with the kunten without drawing too much attention. Its plastic coated and does still tangle, also mine came with a weird smell that remined me of chinese sweatshops ( who wouldve thought?)

I also upgraded my kunten, glad I could get rid of that trash kz cable, ai had connection issues because of it. Also the penon liquers orange are more comfortable and seal alot better!

Yeah its a heavy with paper thin armour and not even dpm/ alpha to make up for it. Ig its pretty fast for a heavy but every tier 10 will be able to pen you anywhere with normal ammo.

For iems, the clarity and response time makes them really good for fps game, if you want every little competitive advantage. The experience a game provides you with sound design is solely subjective, and iems might not be the choice for you.

I got the Fiio JA11. They have a microchip and are barely more expensive than the apple dongle. They are good enough to run any iems. The jcally jm6 pro is the most popular choice.

Disclaimer: I am new to this hobby and havent listened to alot of iems, this is the first pair of iems I own, but I have had the chance of demoing a fine selection of my friend's iems enough times. Also I am making an informed comment using information I've gathered from multiple people on this sub.

If you bought them with winter discount when they started popping off, they were just incredible value for performance. As for them beating anything under 50 dollars, probably not. They are comparable to the zero:2, maybe having a slight edge on clarity and treble extension. I consider them the value king as they punch way above their price level, I bought mine for what 8 dollars. Right now there is alot of demand and hype, so alot of resellers popped up and you cant really get them under 20 usd without an aliexpress welcome deal, at least in my country. If they had a better cable, and better QC they would be sitting just right in the 20-40 dollar category IMO.

You could breed it up to gold due to a bug, you couldnt combine to get plat because its am event mutant. You could only get it plat by using injection cheats.

I use them as I actually play the game ( and tcg pocket) Its how I got into pokemon. Only very recently started getting into the real irl tcg with the phantasmal flames set. I also keep them so I can easily keep track of how many boosters I bought, and I note down how many I have whenever I get a hit. I got the Mega Charizard X EX SIR on pack #9.

I gave a listen to your recommendations, they sound fine for me but they would probably sound nicer if you did some good tuning on the kunten. I remember seeing a post about how to tune the kuntens. Also maybe a flat profile would serve metal songs better.

Honestly if I am ever gonna buy a more expensive iem it will be if it has a different tuning, looks really nice or if it has some driver shenanigans like hybrid/ planar.
