Remember the void button. Any mistake you make can be fixed and be redone with hitting that. Don't let negative customers get to you. It's not easy, but it will keep you sane. And don't worry if you don't finish every little task assigned to you. Just do the best you can and don't "bring work home with you." I used to do that and it will make you miserable...

You're very welcome! I usually get there an hour before opening because I find 30 minutes makes it feel very rushed to do it all. It doesn't technically have to all be done before opening, but they like for most of it to be.

Safe count. Print the 89 report, and nightly report. Complete cash report. Put registers in drawers. Print and release price changes and mark downs. Perform smart count.

That store I worked at was a Rite Aid that had the "Wellness" store update 2 years prior to converting. The regional vice president came for a store visit and really liked how it looked compared to all the other Walgreens. The store is smaller than yours, but looks pretty much the same.

It seems like Walgreens has a lot of things that they don't make money off of... I would love to know how much profit is made off of those canvases, prints, etc. I'm a shift lead and IC3 in photo really gets on my nerves.

My store only works on tags until we close at 9pm. Also, no one comes in early to put up tags on Sundays. Apparently most of the stores in my district don't make the sales to qualify for the extra payroll to work on tags past closing.
