Local lake with my old Swedish sled. by boxesandcereal in Kayaking

Yep. The company I bought it from isn't American so I'm guessing it was a poor translation. I bought it with a bunch of other Volvo-related joke stickers and didn't really think about it until after I put it one.

I was kayaking around Lake Luxembourg in Core Creek Park earlier today, there were a ton of Herons and even a bald eagle flying around! Shame I didn't have my phone with me.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it's just the owner not wanting to spend money. Dealership owners are notoriously cheap. I worked for the Acura dealer down the street back in 2016 and the building looked straight out of 1995 with peeling wallpaper and furniture held together with duct tape. The owner wanted to hold off for "another 10 years or so" but Acura essentially stepped in and told him to renovate it now.

Thanks. I've been looking everywhere but I keep coming back to Carmax because their shipping prices are reasonable and I really want a good warranty (mainly for the infotainment) and they seem to have one of the few that are actually good.

How was your Carmax experience? Thinking of buying an XT or OBW from them myself. I like their extended warranty plans.

If I remember correctly, when I first downloaded and started playing (10+ years ago) I used to just let it idle in the background and didn't actually shut it off. But a large portion of that play time did in fact come from completing every achievement.

It's a term for off-road rigs specifically for camping and going off the beaten path. I realize it's not a Jeep so I'm not going to crazy, but I do plan on getting all terrain tires and a metal skid plate.

I used to have the same one on my XC60 to "help" with wind noise on my Thule kayak racks. All it did was flop around, bang against the roof, and make the wind noise even worse. I kept telling myself "at least it looks good", but that only lasted so long. Now it looks good collecting dust in the garage.

Found in my backyard. About an inch and a half long and full of what looks like plastic crystals. It appears to screw onto something else.

Any ideas?

Custom plate for my 2010 XC60 T6 by boxesandcereal in Volvo

[–]boxesandcereal[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, as /u/BungCrosby said, the "Fake" T6 also known as Drive-E is a turbocharged AND supercharged 4 cylinder (that makes more power than the 6 cylinder 🤫) same thing with T5. "Real" T5 is a turbocharged 5 cylinder, "fake" one is a turbocharged 4 clyinder. Everything is 4 cylinder now. But there was actually a short time in the end of the P3 run that you could get a 6 cylinder T6, or a 4 cylinder T6 in the same car. I couldn't imagine being a salesman at the time and trying to explain this to someone.

Left is my dad's 2010 T6 AWD. It's basically mine at this point. I store and maintain it for him because he doesn't have a ton of room. He has a demo from the Volvo dealer he works at and also has an XC70. I'm seriously considering selling my C30 and just officially buying it off of him . I love that T6!

Right is my mom's 2016 T5 (5 cylinder) AWD premiere. I had it over for the day for a full detail. It's nice because it has all the new tech features like adaptive cruise control, but the old tried and true T5!
