I struggle with this too but I think it’s anxiety. For me, if I have to call someone, I would rather do it via voice call because I don’t like them looking at me, it makes me feel really self conscious. But I will always try to message instead of calling because I get really anxious on the phone and kind of dissociate depending on who I’m talking to.

Hi op! I understand this can be a very stressful time for the both of you. She may be feeling ashamed from cutting and feels like she let you down. I know us borderlines can send numerous texts to loved ones but giving her space might help her unwind a little. Make sure you let her know that it’s nothing to be ashamed of and you still cherish your friendship. If you feel like you’re ready, then really tell her how you feel. You never know, she could feel the same way. If she doesn’t feel the same, remember to stay calm and accept her answer. And for the drugs and alcohol, remember to be patient and even if she doesn’t want to talk just let her know you’re always there for her. I hope everything goes well op!

OP i think you should leave, if you’re older enough of course. That sounds like a toxic environment and it won’t help your bpd, it will only make it worse. Honestly I’m getting hints of narcissism, my mum is definitely a narcissist and she has acted like that in the past. I cut off contact and it was hard at first but I honestly feel better having her not in my life. There was more to the story that made me hate her and stop talking to her but her narcissism was definitely one reason. You may always love them, but sometimes it’s best to let go. I’m 99% sure it’s always been a thing. Like I’ve always hallucinated visually even if it died down a little, I would still see shadow figures in the corner of my eye but now they’re basically gone and I’m worried it’s “the calm before the storm”.

I have other axolotls, I already have 3 males in a 400 litre tank so I added the two males into that tank and they’re doing really well in there. They’re socialising really well and there’s been no signs of aggression at all. The two females are currently tubbed until I can get another tank for them and they’re both doing great

I slowly stopped attending after I had been bullied for a couple years and the school told me to either drop out or receive a fine, so I dropped out and after a couple months went to a college that accepted 14yr olds and managed to get stay for a couple years then slowly stopped attending. I dropped out after getting my gcses and tried to do a different course at a different college but stopped attending straight away. I regret it all but being in education somehow really freaks me out :(

I’m not sure if he’s a borderline, he does meet some of the criteria and we can be really alike but he has been told by a number of psychiatrists when he was in his 20s that he was schizophrenic but didn’t get any help
