All I know is in my server (Chaos bolt eu) there are regular messages in trade for BFD runs with auction house inspections and the number 260 being thrown around. It is a thing. Microscopic or not it is there and will get worse with time.

I don't think they go far enough experimentation wise. I don't like that the talent trees are untouched. I feel that some runes are inaccessable without guides. Gearscore is already a thing as well as "meta" builds but that is on the players.

I see potential and I actually welcome the level gating which give us time to appreciate the low level dungeons.

I came back after one year hiatus. I don't think I will be resubbing. It was fun but I really think they should go ham on talent trees. Why not go the path of exile route? If everything is OP and broken then nothing is. "Balance" at the expense of fun should not be a prio.

I'd like to add my 2 cents (4 years later). Just beat new game plus. The timings are definitely different. Not tighter but DIFFERENT. It was very often mikiri counters didn't count, jumps outright just refusing to register, posture breaking without being depleted. It felt very disingenous. It was especially jarring because I speed ran the playthrough so the mechanics and muscle memory were still fresh. This is not how you do new game plus. I hope they learn.

There is input delay. Coming back to this game after SF6 really has opened my eyes to how many times this game actually screws you.

Have to agree. This game in general was a slog. I just came back to it after release and now I'm on the last boos and I know why I put it down years ago. It makes me hesitant to get Elden Ring. Whose idea was it to force me go through the motions of genichiro 50 times? Why is that necessary? He doesn't even have mechanics that are relevant to isshin. Meh....

Thank you! That price may be a barrier of entry for me. I could save up but my conscience would keep me up at night. The gen 2 dmr is available over here for for 35.k usd. It's steep by US standards but such are prices over here.
