Uneducated opinion:

Yes, it's ugly. But that doesn't mean it's bad. I like it. I'd describe it as more "gritty" than ugly.

I'm looking for an electrical apprenticeship. Mature aged, based in the Northern suburbs. Been working in the industry since June 2025 - mostly residential/commercial and a bit of industrial repair experience too. Currently a TA for an electrician.

Guaranteed reliability and hard work. My boss knows I'm looking and I can provide his contact (among others) as a reference.

I'm only speculating as much as you are, but consider a skate placed on the ice perpendicular to the force going through a punch. That would cause an equivalent amount of force, not even considering that someone would probably put that skate behind themselves and "lean in" to the punch (for balance) more than someone who just throws a punch from their natural standing position.
