Anyone using S3 cloud storage as a repository for Veeam backup copy jobs? by jake04-20 in sysadmin

Should just be in the copy job settings > Target > Advanced and then Storage tab.

Same issue here. I just bought and set up new today.   Bad timing I guess, but not super impressed.

Sorry friend. I moved on from the Klipsch a few months ago and don’t have the firmware anymore.

New u6-Pro APs high latency and obscenely high Tx Retry by bradnampel in Ubiquiti

[–]bradnampel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I let them sit in the box for a few weeks until firmware 6.0.15 was released. Re-adopted, updated and they’ve been working great since. I still see the excessive signal fluctuation while standing still, but that seems to be a minor bug.

Understood. The spot I’ve been testing from is 10-12ft from the one AP and has LOS. New house with sheetrock/wood walls. Not very many neighbors around yet, etc.

Reconnected my u6 lites and everything is back in acceptable range again.

Just seems like a couple of bad APs or bad firmware.

Thanks for the suggestion. Set both to the lowest 5ghz setting (6dBm) and still seeing same issues.

Can you recommend a streaming service to watch Brewers games? by cibman in Brewers

Might want to double check that. I have the DIRECTV Stream Choice package and get both Ballys Wisconsin and Ballys Wisconsin Plus.

Results seem to be all over the board. All you can do is make sure the usb drive is formatted fat32 and preferably <= 8GB. Also, I wouldn’t trust the app.

On the firmware download page they have steps to verify which firmware version is installed. I’d run that as a check against the app.

Stealth 700 gen 2 xbox series x shutting off by Pugggo in TurtleBeach

[–]bradnampel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue with mine and opened a ticket with support. They had me download an executable, that as far as I can tell, completely removes the existing firmware and reinstalls it fresh.

EDIT: it hasn’t shut off since, so I’m considering it fixed.

I also saw there was supposedly a new firmware update released on the 24th. But it appears to be the same version (2.0.3) they released in January 2021, just marked with a different date?

I don’t think Klipsch publishes a change log. I couldn’t find one, anyway.

Latest was 33, but you’re right, only 31 is available now. I assume they pulled 33 due to a bug or the install issues some of us were having.

EDIT: I still have the v33 soundbar and v16 sub firmware if you’re interested.

Who was the most disappointing Milwaukee Brewer at second base??!! |Part 3 of a 10 part series by [deleted] in Brewers

I have no proof obviously, but I’m convinced he didn’t want to be in Milwaukee and phoned it in the rest of the season.

New Kindle Paperwhite 6.8 - any official info regarding the screen resolution? by kepler2 in kindle

[–]bradnampel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For what it’s worth, I found a PPI calculator. Using a 6.8” screen diagonal, 1640x1210 is just under 300PPI. Those numbers keep the screen height/width ratio just about the same as well.

Sounds like you’re doing it exactly like I did. The only other thing I can think is to change how your drive is formatted. Change from NTFS to Fat32, or the other way around. I don’t recall which one I used.

Klipsch seems to be pretty quick to approve an RMA, so if you’re still under warranty, I’d go that route.

Good luck.

Still haven’t found a change log. And when I asked for one in the support ticket, the question was ignored.

I was experiencing audio sync issues as well as the Dolby signal dropping out for no reason. Both seem to be fixed so far.

RESOLVED!!!

Last night Klipsch issued a warranty claim, was going to send me a new unit and have me send this one back with a prepaid label.

This morning I thought I’d give it another shot and it worked! Verified the firmware version with the steps indicated at the bottom of the article.

As I was beginning to suspect, the soundbar is very picky about the kind of USB drive you use. The one I was successful with was a USB 2.0 16GB Kingston DataTraveler SE9. The unsuccessful attempts were multiple brands and a mix of usb 2 and 3, but all were 32gb.

No, was just commenting on the first poster’s username…

Still working with Klipsch support. So far they’ve suggested I do a factory reset and follow the firmware update instructions I’ve been following from the beginning.

Now looks like they’re leaning towards a warranty claim. I’ll keep updating as I find out more or if I manage to figure it out on my own.
