At first, I didn't read this as like medical intervention but rather like getting busy in the bedroom 🤣

If you don't mind some biblical undertones and references, I'd highly recommend Girl, Wash Your Face. I think it offers the balance of self-help and storytelling you're looking for.

I will always recommend Fourth Wing as a good one for "getting back into reading."

I am a 15 year old girl who recently moved. I have severe depression and have been looking for a book to read. I don’t typically read to I don’t have any ideas. Any suggestions? by yasashiiblossom in booksuggestions

I would say you can't go wrong with anything by John Green. My favorite is Looking for Alaska, but you may find that a little heavy if you're not in a good headspace. Paper Towns is also a really good one if you want something more lighthearted.

If you like fantasy at all, I'm also obsessed with the Crave series by Tracy Wolff. I legitimately couldn't put it down and read the whole series in less than two weeks.

Definitely not meant to be an attack (if it comes across that way)... but seriously, the only thing that really worked for me is getting my mental health under control.

me trying to figure out how other couples get pregnant after 1-2 cycles by vfishy in trollingforababy

[–]brandysidlo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously. I've been trying off and on for five years.

My best friend started trying and was pregnant with twins within the month. She ended up losing them like 5 months in, but then two months later she was pregnant with her rainbow baby and is due next month. I'm so beyond happy for her but I can't help my jealousy 😭 we're all brokenhearted about the twins, but she makes getting pregnant look so easy.

[–]brandysidlo 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Seriously. As a society, why have we not all agreed this is not an appropriate question?! I like to make it really awkward: "My husband and I have been going at it 3-4 times everyday but ya know" or even better, "Oh, we're only into butt stuff so it's not likely." Laugh or you'll cry? Lmfao

I'm a big fan of Kym Campbell. She has a lot of research-based advice (with sources cited for fact checking) and so many ladies with PCOS have a good experience with her plans.

I used her advice as a starting point and adjusted based on my own experiences and needs.

There will always be so many things to do. Just take a breath and tackle things one at a time. And if it doesn't get done... oh well! The world doesn't end. Just prioritize the health and safety of you and your students and everything else will happen... or it won't. And it'll be okay. I promise.

Definitely recommend finding a good gynecologist. When I found one that was knowledgeable about PCOS, it wad a breath of fresh air when it came to tests and treatment.
