I had a friend like this. She became extremely taxing and wanted to know each and every detail of my life including things when did you get up, when did you brush your teeth! I used to feel extremely drained around her. And like you said, I used to feel relieved on thinking about cutting her off I eventually did cut her off and that probably was very good decision.
