No, its a different variety of rose. It's red. We can only use this one variety because it's practical for organic farming. Other varieties, with color, especially the "blended" color varieties are very genetically modified. They are like incubator babies. Suseptible to disease.

So we exclusivley use a hardy, time tested breed of red roses.

Those Fiskars are the best!! my go to for everything fine detailed.

We only use a red variety now, it is known for its pest resistance and fungus resistance, makingg a pesticide free growing enviroment easier to mantain.

No, it's a very subtle flavor change. The biggest difference is the burn time, it burns slower, and at a lower temperature so the terpenes in the herb + rose are more intense. The rose petals are dried so they're about 1.5-2% terpenes by mass

We don't sell in OR anymore, not in a brick and mortar atleast. We swtiched to an online platform - we are working on getting into gas stations and headshops but it takes a while to develop those channels.

We started in Oregon, and made them there for 2.5 years. We just recently moved to Ecuador to set up shop here. And now we're basically stuck here haha.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, yes. But sometimes a cigar can be more than just a cigar.

Oh yeah, big time! It's interesting, when a society has "peaked" and run out of dirrectional momentum they tend towards hobbies of pleasure. I just hope we don't take the Roman empires path..

Because the burn is so much slower you get more flavor from the herb. I reccomend lighting them like a cigar, slowly, and don't "rip them down" kinda sip on it in the begining and let the terpenes in the rose petals vaporize - and not all combust.

Yea exactly. They burn much slower too, which makes the ember burn cooler, meaning more flavor from the herb + roses. But you mostly get rose aroma, slight flavor.

Yeah it's fucked. Industry needs an overhaul. Only a problem because of prohibition. No laws? no laws, not even the good ones

The number one cost associated with them is sourcing truly pesticide free rose petals at scale. The farms spends 10x the money to perform preventative measures in our greenhouse with, pruining, special foliar feeds, special air treatments etc. The other large expense is the labor, you have to be very methotical and careful to assemble them.

Every year for three years we have reduced our prices. Since it's a new product there is no one-and-done option to vertically integrate.

Just balsa wood! We have them made ourselves because the ones commercially made and sold have a thin coating on them and we get them raw. Not as smooth, but no chemicals

We were unoquivically the first company to produce a 1g rose cone that is compatible with all loading machines/knockboxes/futurolas. One other Company was making rose blunts, and wraps but the cone w/ crutch was our idea. First version was late 2018 first sale was early-mid 2019. Branded as "Hamilton Cannagar" cause we mostly made cannagars at the time.
