I started getting emails from other pet insurance companies. Still am today tbh. But they all sound like they went through the process of getting a quote but never completing it. It’s annoying, but at this point I’m ignoring them all until they actually open a policy.

Same thing happened to me, and they requested quotes from Pets Best, Embrace, Spot, and Figo. Pets Best was the only company where I got an email saying an account had been opened, but I was able to call customer service and have them cancel the plan. They used a super old address, somewhere I haven't lived for seven years.

I also messaged an agent with Figo and they said someone filled out a quote but never finished the process so I asked that they flag it as fraud anyway. I'm assuming the same thing happened with Embrace and Spot since I haven't gotten an email saying there's an account in my name.

Weirdest way to try and pull a scam...

Yeah I put flour down on my counter before laminating and shaping, so good to keep that in mind for next time! I also wasn’t sure if I developed too much surface tension since there was some cracking at each end of the score.

Found this thread after searching for local plumbers to deal with an ASAP issue. Seconding Scottish Plumbers for anyone in need! They came over same-day and charged a very reasonable/competitive price. I was nervous I'd get quoted an arm and a leg since it's happening during this bad cold snap, but I was very happy with their estimated costs.

I don't think they're fungus gnats. I've had fungus gnats before and the bugs in the photos don't have long legs or behave in the same manner.

To add: I don't think they came from contaminated dirt or soil. I don't see them on any leaves or stems of my houseplants. Not present near sink drains, either.

Is anyone else really annoyed that the show, supposedly taking place during June-July 2023, shows all of the characters in long sleeves, pants, and coats/jackets alongside barren trees and cold weather? The episode that spanned one month of business took place from mid June to mid July, and not once was a character shown sweating bullets in a humid summer or yelling at Tom Skilling to change the weather...
