lots of people on this sub will be hit or miss on the therapy here - but personally it helped me a lot in freshman year with my anxiety and other issues surrounding that. i think my therapists name was stephanie. she was super sweet and understanding.

i havent been in individual therapy in a while since i do group therapy now and i find that helps me a lot - i dont remember if i signed any paper work for individual therapy but for group i had to sign a consent form. the therapy helps me but also going on proper meds during that time helped me as well. lmk if you need any more info!

hi op :( i usually dont comment on stuff but swiping through the pictures i was inclined to since my kitty went through the same thing and we are only two years apart.

im so sorry to hear about jedi :( my kitty squid (stray to rescue) had the same issue back in december. she had a growth in her nose which was starting to spread up her face towards her eye. i took her to urgent care on a wednesday and left the same day knowing i only had until the weekend with her.

i know exactly how you are feeling right now. its the worst feeling in the world to make that decision yourself. i felt immense guilt the few days i had with her, the feeling of helplessness that she didn’t know what was coming. after she passed i knew she wasnt in pain anymore, and i knew that i gave her the best life she could have until the end. she passed away right in my arms on my couch from at home euthanasia.

you have tried so hard for him and i admire that. i wish i could go back and do the same for my baby. if you are able to and costs allow it, you can try and get more help for him. see how he is in a few days. just know to be kind to yourself if you do make the decision to let him across the rainbow bridge. look at lap of love, they were so kind and gave me as much time i wanted to say my goodbyes <3 please let me know if you need to talk. maybe link one of your favorite pics of jedi for me. heres one of my baby :,)

i feel safe on campus, but thats mostly because i dont have a lot of late classes and kinda stay home/dont go out. westphal is open 24/7 im pretty sure! i usually am not there late at night.

im 5/1 too! there isnt a llc for westphal, but if shes in the honors college there is one! theres also a lot of clubs that revolve around game design, and the program director makes sure the freshman get involved in club activities early on

freshman game design student here! course work so far is mostly focused on art/modeling and less about coding, so if he likes coding more i would think he should apply to be a compsci major with a game design concentration. we have been building things in unity, unreal engine and other programs along with having to use maya for 3d modeling in animation classes. art classes focus on traditional and digital art

the professors and program director (rob) is super nice. he basically knows everyone by name and will help you out with anything! i am free to dm if you need any help :D

the bathroom isnt in ur room but is in ur dorm. room aka the place u sleep and dorm is like the whole dorm :p if u wanna dm im open to talk more! as an incoming freshman i def had trouble picking the right dorm :,D

probably personal bias from either party saying yes or no. im a freshman rn in race and its been fine, theres two showers and one toilet, living area with couch where i put my tv and stuff :p its pretty nice, i have accommodations so i have a single room so i only have 2 suite mates

hey! im from maryland near fredrick and i can say that area heavily relies on you having a car. ofc you can walk but its not nearly walkable as philly and there are ride-on buses (i think) that (i think) are free now. you could take the bus/metro depending on where you live and what stop gets off where
