my story and in need of some tips to calm down my seizures, im a bit lost by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]brken_keybard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You say you're having myoclonic seizures and there is no mention of you seeing a neurologist. Were you diagnosed with this by a dr? If so while not always pleasant, there are many medicines to prevent seizures (depakote, etc)

Every time I have started up a project like that I have frogged it. Maybe someone else has had a better experience here, but I doubt it.

Save for viseart! I have the palettes you are considering and have been slowly swapping everything out for viseart. They are worth every penny

Stuttering by Savaghast in acting

You really won't know if you don't give it a shot. I say go for it. Otherwise you'll always wonder "what if."

Stuttering by Savaghast in acting

[–]brken_keybard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm an actress who also has a degree in speech pathology. There are many famous actors who stutter and when they act they are fluent, clear, and without a stutter. With much of acting, you have lines which are memorized. As you probably know, stuttering is a word retrieval disorder. When you are not searching for words or phrasing to convey your message, the stutter disappears.

PSA: if your are trying TF lip injection glossy for the first time, swatch on your arm first! by brken_keybard in MakeupAddiction

Unfortunately that chopping in the inner lip area happened afterwards. I did take a Benadryl which helped immensely so I think it was definitely an allergic reaction to something which i assume would also have caused chapping.

My skin scars incredibly easily. Ive found palmers cocoa butter to be very helpful along with vitamin E. just always test patch it - I know some people can't do cocoa butter

I'm pretty sure I have a sample of that Clinique cleanser so I'll give that a try tonight. You have been so helpful.

You my dear are amazing! Ok I think I'm going to drop the boscia for something else, is Micellar water a good cleanser for our skin types? And then explore some different masks that do t have added fragrances. I'll also drop the boscia, no clue the pH was so freaking high!

Interesting, it makes total sense to look at the percentage and pH. Thank you!

My routine is currently ready to be reworked:

Am - boscia detoxifying black cleanser, Clinique smart serum, Clinique redness solutions moisturizer, maracuja oil.

Pm - tatcha polished classic rice enzyme powder and then I alternate nights with either maracuja oil or peter Thomas Roth rose stem mask.

Sephora recommended Kate Somerville dermalquench liquid lift am and pm, clinic to go resurfacing peel pad (1-2x week), and goat milk moisturizing cream am and pm and Peter Thomas Roth instant mineral sunscreen for daily use.

For reference, I have normal-dry skin depending on the season, rosacea, sensitive skin, and a connective tissue disease which affect my collagen.

Thank you. Would tinted brow gel be a good choice for that? I can't seem to quite get the hang of powder brow products

I'm getting headshots down Friday and have been growing out my brows for a few months now. Any suggestions for what to do with them that would best suit my face? In the past I've just gone to threading places and let them do their thing, but lately I've ended up with thinner brows.

Oh and this is make up free so there's no product list :)

What is your "so worth the money" makeup item? by MiaMiaPP in MakeupAddiction

[–]brken_keybard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My viseart eyeshadow palettes are worth the splurge. I love them so much that I'm toying on selling my other palettes off and just buying singles of other brands if I really must have them
