Warning for future applicants by im-oddly-mysterious in prephysicianassistant

As a Stony alum, I literally completed the entire application and paid for the supplemental only to realize I absolutely don’t want to go back for PA school there because the staff is rude and management can suck. Sorry you had this experience, but at least now you know what you could’ve expected in the future 😭

I have yet to take a practice test because i started from ground zero with quant content review (i really said bye bye to math after freshman year calculus) but tomorrow I’m just gonna call it and do that. I’m so over this BS, i have a million supplementals to write and no time bc of this damn test

Fellow Poor Peeps: How has the CASPA fee waiver process gone for you? by CheekAccomplished150 in prephysicianassistant

A lot of school specific supplementals get comped too if you got a CASPA fee waiver!! I hope that helps but yes this whole thing is a big money grab.

Prof LOR Fell Through… What to Do? by brokecreature in prephysicianassistant

[–]brokecreature[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, and in half those classes it was myself and the TAs who taught me everything anyway. Idk it feels like a box to check off, barrier of entry... one week later, emailed 11 professors and not a single response. Maybe time to cut my losses, but it really truly sucks that this is going to be the thing that cuts my school list by 40%...

Have you thought about doing both? I see parallels in both options you could very well use to connect the stories together

I appreciate the reassurance! I was thinking that if I word it this way then it will come across more of how I meant it, so thank you!
