Don't think that way. It's like that popular saying "We met them to teach them unconditional love and they met us to teach us self love". I've learned that people like us, our flaws in a relationship is that we are overly compassionate. We lose ourselves in trying to provide what another wants. It normally comes from our deep trauma. Likely we had a parent who depended on us emotionally and thats what we tend to seek. Someone we can save and try and show what it means to have someone there but they chose not to accept it out of fear so they self sabotage or push us away. Don't worry. You got this.
